GigaCreations.net DNS Signed

The domain "gigacreations.net" has been signed using DNSSEC. If you have any problems verifying the entries, please send an e-mail to dns [at] gigacreations.net so we can look into the issue. Please provide as much detail as possible when e-mailing us.

As we continue to look at DNSSEC, we will begin to sign zones hosted by Giga Creations. Owners of domains will be informed once the zones have been signed.

If you'd like to purchase DNS hosting from us, please use the contact us link.

DNSSEC Implementation

We have been working hard to implement DNSSEC on all of our domains. Currently we are testing with a select few domains. Once the process has been solidifed, we will begin to implement this across all the domains that we provide DNS for.

If you would like to learn more about DNSSEC, please visit http://www.dnssec.net/ or give us a shout.

Open Source Networking

We have recently been looking into a new open source network operating system called Vyatta. There is a commercial product available as well, but we will be focusing in on the community edition for the time being.

Since we got our start firewalling using Linux iptables, we think this is a great opportunity to see how this new NOS has leveraged Linux to create a good product. We hope to be able to learn enough about this to use as a possible solution for our clients.

We will be sure to keep you informed as we progress through the learning process of this technology.

Learning all about Cisco

We have been taking a lot of time the past few months to learn about Cisco equipment. We have really hit this head-on to make sure we can effectively troubleshoot, or install, Cisco equipment. It's been a lot of fun for us so far, and we hope to continue to learn more about them.

If you have any questions about what we can do with Cisco equipment, please feel free to contact us.

GCTools README nears completion

We have been working hard to try to finish up the documentation on the existing code.

We only have about 3 classes left to document fully, and they are coming along rather quickly. We will have at least 1 example on the usage of every class, and we may have more than one example to show different functionalities and applications.

You may click on the link to the PDF version of the README on the right. The bottom of the first page will let you know when the document was last updated.
